How many oranges are necessary to obtain a natural fruit juice?
There is not an exact figure because the amount of juice depends on several factors (type of orange, size, time of year, etc), but in general a juice of between 200-225 ml can be obtained with three/four oranges.
What kind of fruits can be squeezed?
They can be used for any kind of citrus fruit (grapefruit, lemon, tangerine) or even other round fruits such as the pomegranate, as long as they meet the following two conditions:
- Being as round as possible.
- Having the recommended size.
What size fruit can the juicers take?
Your normal fruit supplier can provide you with oranges of sizes 6, 7 and 8 (diameters between 65 and 80 mm). These are the most common sizes for oranges ‘for juice’ and are available in the market all year round.
There is also an accessory for fruits with a diameter smaller than 65 mm (kit 65) that can be used to squeeze smaller fruits such as tangerines or lemons.
